Born in the underground clubs of Bucharest, Hoodlüx emerged from the raw energy of Romania's electronic music scene in 2018. What started as late-night experiments in a cramped apartment studio quickly evolved into a distinctive sound that blends dark techno with the haunting melodies of Eastern European folk traditions.
The journey began in the legendary Control Club, where the first Hoodlüx tracks were tested on unsuspecting crowds. The hypnotic basslines and intricate rhythms resonated deeply, leading to residencies at venues across Romania and eventually performances at festivals throughout Europe.
Today, Hoodlüx continues to push boundaries from a studio overlooking the Dâmbovița River, creating sonic landscapes that transport listeners from the concrete jungles of Bucharest to ethereal dimensions.
